Date: Thursday, June 24, 2010
Time: 1:00pm – 7:00pm
Location: Montgomery Mall Parking Lot near the former Boscov’s
Event Info: The Zumiez Couch Tour 2010 will feature pro skateboarding demos by Enjoi Skate Team, FREE, live musical performances by Bayside and Hawthorne Heights, skateboarding contest for up-and-coming local skaters, prizes, autograph signings, giveaways and much more.
A special highlight during the tour is the 4th Annual Zumiez Best Foot Forward (BFF) Am Contest Series 2010, presented by Bones Wheels. This jam format skateboard contest will give up-and-coming skaters a chance to “catch the elusive footshark.” Local skaters are invited to partake in the Montgomery Mall opening qualifier. The first 20 skaters to register online will be selected. Registration information can be found at www.zumiezbestfootforward.com.
Zumiez Couch Tour App: New to this year’s tour is the Zumiez Couch Tour app, a free download from Apple’s app store. From the app, users can watch each of the 12 stops live on their iPhone or iPod touch through an expanded appcast and webcast that will be streamed live on www.zumiezcouchtour.com. Along with the appcast there will be weekly content from Zumiez Couch Tour on Facebook, Twitter, Myspace & YouTube.
