The Grand Opening of the new concept Target at Springfield Mall is happening on Sunday, October 11, 2009. In celebration of the event, there will be free activities, guest appearances, and entertainment for the community – see details below:
Target’s Grand Opening: Sunday, October 11, 2009 at 11:00am
Grand Opening Details: Special guests include an appearance by Dora The Explorer, animals from the Philadelphia Zoo, the Philadelphia Mummers, a balloon artist, and a magician. The popular Delaware County Band Makin’ Music will perform live, and there will be face-painting for children. Target’s Grand Opening event is free and open to the public and will be taking place at the Lower Level Dining Court of Springfield Mall.
About: The new Target will feature a wide assortment of reasonably priced items and services including household products, clothing, electronics, photo processing, a pharmacy, a portrait gallery, Starbucks, and expanded food options with fresh produce, meat, bakery items, and more.
